We collect information you provide directly when you: • Create an account (phone number, username, password, first name, last name, gender, date of birth) • Post stories, save gallery items, or create highlights • Send messages or reactions to other users • Update your profile (bio, profile image, country, email) • Adjust your privacy and notification settings We also automatically collect: • Device information and platform (iOS, Android, Web) • Usage data such as features accessed and interactions • Session information for authentication purposes
We use your information to: • Provide, maintain, and improve the Storlly app • Create and manage your account • Display your stories to accepted friends • Enable messaging and social features • Send you notifications about friend requests, reactions, and messages • Send administrative communications (announcements, alerts, updates) • Enforce our Terms of Service and community guidelines • Protect the safety and security of our users and platform
We do not sell your personal information. Stories automatically expire and are permanently deleted from our servers after 12 hours. Gallery items and highlights are stored permanently until you choose to delete them. Account data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data including stories, gallery items, messages, and profile information is permanently removed. Chat messages are stored to provide the messaging service and are deleted when either user deletes the conversation or their account.
We take the security of your data seriously. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including: • Password hashing using industry-standard bcrypt encryption • Secure server-side session management • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit • Regular security reviews and updates However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
Storlly is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. During account registration, we verify that users meet the minimum age requirement. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
You have the following rights regarding your personal information: • Access: You can view your profile information and data at any time through the app • Correction: You can update your profile information through the Edit Profile screen • Deletion: You can delete individual stories, gallery items, and highlights. You can also delete your entire account • Privacy controls: You can adjust who can view your stories, send you messages, and reply to your content • Friend management: You can accept, decline, or remove friends. You can block users and hide specific friends from your story feed • Notification preferences: You can control which types of notifications you receive
Storlly uses session cookies to maintain your login state and provide a seamless experience. We use essential cookies only and do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes. Session cookies are automatically cleared when you log out.
Storlly may contain links to or integrations with third-party services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through our app.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
